Black and green

I think that the colors black and green go brilliant together and I honestly couldn't give a poop about the whole 'black and yellow' thing.  I don't even know what that is.

Short Waisted or Long Waisted

“A very quick and easy way to tell if you have a short waist is to stand up straight, and see if you can fit two hand widths under your bust to your waist (narrowest point). If you can fit more than two hand widths you have a long waist, less than two, a short waist”.

Vintage

Today I went vintage shopping!  I got five things and the prices were really good!  I got 4 shirts and 1 skirt.  Here are some pictures:

Oh yes, and I also got some blood orange and honey hard candy!  Mmm!

The Simple Things

Wearing nice clothing doesn't always mean wearing a beautiful dress with intricate designs.  Sometime the simpler clothing look even nicer.  

For example, I'm wearing a yellow Awaken Cafe T-shirt with grey shorts that were cut from sweat pants.  I think they look rather nice together.

So, I know it's getting close to the end of the summer and closer to school.  Don't worry about wearing a big fancy hoop skirt.  Instead, wear something casual and simple.  You can even add a little flair of unique-ness.

A Dress and What Might Go Nice With It.

My dad got me this dress from Urban Outfitters a while ago.

I really like it.  It's a bit short waisted, though (I'm long waisted...).

I'm expecting some ballet flats in the mail that I think would be beautiful to go along with this dress.  I ale think either a silver or brown belt would go along nicely.  What do you think?

A Walk To The Park

Today I plan to go on a walk to the park to have a mini picnic (maybe) and to practice my lines for an audition.  I might also bring my camera.  It's sunny and a little breezy outside so today I am wearing my colorful striped dress.  It has very soft fabric and I got it at target.

What Do You Prefer #1

What Do You Prefer is something I just made up.  I will ask a question of what you prefer and you can answer in the comments.  Every week I will have a different question, along with what other peoples answers (you will be completely anonymous) were.  Sound cool?  Great.  Here we go.

What Do You Prefer: A skirt and a nice blouse or a dress with/without a sweater or cardigan on top?

I personally prefer a dress without something on top (unless it's cold, brrrr!).  I don't really know why.  Maybe it's because of how simple it is and how easy it is to put on.  However, with a skirt and a blouse, you can add a tad bit more variety easily.  I do like wearing a dress more, though.

An Amazing Activity Book

My birthday was on July 31 and one of the things I got was a fashion activity book!

It is called YSL: Pret-A-Porter; Coloring, Activity, and Inspiration Book.  It is really an amazing book. :)

My Favorite Clothing Websites

I mostly shop from online stores, and I am one of the lucky ones who get their sizes right every time.  I have only had to return something once.

I have a couple favorite websites to shop from.  They are BodenUSA* and ModCloth*.  They have some nice, subtle clothing, along with accessories such as handbags, scarves, and hats.  BodenUSA has mens and boys clothing, but I'm not sure about ModCloth.  Anyway, ModCloth has a fantastic vintage selection.

I only have one dress from ModCloth and one skirt from BodenUSA, but I do know that they are absolutely fantastic.

Hello; A Quick Intro

This blog is the place where I recommend clothing, accessories, etc.  I have recently discovered how fantastic clothing and fashion can be.  It is a way to express myself and a way to leave my mark.

I am 12 years old (please don't let this sway you away) and I love to dance and act.  I guess I can be a performer but I am pretty shy.  I live in California.
