Black and green

I think that the colors black and green go brilliant together and I honestly couldn't give a poop about the whole 'black and yellow' thing.  I don't even know what that is.

Short Waisted or Long Waisted

“A very quick and easy way to tell if you have a short waist is to stand up straight, and see if you can fit two hand widths under your bust to your waist (narrowest point). If you can fit more than two hand widths you have a long waist, less than two, a short waist”.

Vintage

Today I went vintage shopping!  I got five things and the prices were really good!  I got 4 shirts and 1 skirt.  Here are some pictures:

Oh yes, and I also got some blood orange and honey hard candy!  Mmm!

The Simple Things

Wearing nice clothing doesn't always mean wearing a beautiful dress with intricate designs.  Sometime the simpler clothing look even nicer.  

For example, I'm wearing a yellow Awaken Cafe T-shirt with grey shorts that were cut from sweat pants.  I think they look rather nice together.

So, I know it's getting close to the end of the summer and closer to school.  Don't worry about wearing a big fancy hoop skirt.  Instead, wear something casual and simple.  You can even add a little flair of unique-ness.

A Dress and What Might Go Nice With It.

My dad got me this dress from Urban Outfitters a while ago.

I really like it.  It's a bit short waisted, though (I'm long waisted...).

I'm expecting some ballet flats in the mail that I think would be beautiful to go along with this dress.  I ale think either a silver or brown belt would go along nicely.  What do you think?

A Walk To The Park

Today I plan to go on a walk to the park to have a mini picnic (maybe) and to practice my lines for an audition.  I might also bring my camera.  It's sunny and a little breezy outside so today I am wearing my colorful striped dress.  It has very soft fabric and I got it at target.
